Hepatoid gland tumors in dogs usually occur in the perianal region, but arise occasionally from other areassuch as the tail, back, and thigh. This report describes two cases of ectopic hepatoid gland adenomas in dogs. Thetumors have been observed in the lumbar area of the back and in the axillary region, respectively. The cytologicaland histopathological features were consistent with hepatoid gland adenoma.
